Eyebrow Embroidery After Care

After getting brow embroidery (also known as microblading or semi-permanent eyebrow tattooing), aftercare is super important to make sure your brows heal properly, retain color, and stay looking fresh. Here's your go-to aftercare guide:

✨ Brow Embroidery Aftercare

✅ What to Do:

Keep Them Dry for 3–5 Days – No water, sweat, or steam on the brow area. – Use a face wipe to cleanse your face and avoid your brows.

Apply Healing Ointment (if advised) – Your brow tech may give you a healing balm. Use it sparingly, usually 2–3 times a day.

Let Scabs Fall Off Naturally – Itching or flaking is normal. Don’t pick, scratch, or rub. This can pull out pigment.

Avoid Makeup on the Brow Area – Keep it clean and product-free for at least 7 days to prevent infection.

Use a Gentle, Fragrance-Free Cleanser – If you must clean around the brows, be gentle and avoid direct contact.

Stay Out of the Sun – UV rays can cause the pigment to fade faster. Wear a hat or stay in the shade.

Schedule Your Touch-Up – Usually 4–6 weeks after the first session to perfect the shape and color.

Avoid These:

  • No swimming, saunas, or heavy workouts (sweat = pigment loss)

  • No exfoliating, peels, or retinoids near the brows

  • No brow tinting, waxing, or threading during healing

  • No sleeping face-down (you don’t want to rub your brows on the pillow)
